Jogging Joe’s Jaunty Journey

A new story is coming soon!  It is a short story but I’ve divided it into two discrete parts. I have no plans to continue beyond part two, though it is open-ended. It has also, to an extent, spawned multiple ideas (NONE of them written) for short, stand alone misadventures that I might get around to once I’m done ruining my life writing multi-chapter stories.   JJJJ is about a young man named Joe who gets caught in the rain and controlled by a mischievous younger person. It should go online in about 4 weeks… Yay!

Noah, the Embarrassed Nudist (progress update)

This is the first major update I’ve offered for the sequel to A Series of Embarrassing Events. TBH I planned this update for a week or 2 ago but my time budget overran slightly. Noah, the Embarrassed Nudist has taken 15 months to write (as did ASoEE). With the first drafts of all 33 chapters (subject to change) complete, I can move on to the arduous task of editing. At the moment the story is 265,000 words! It really has been a lot of work. I expect to start editing it in March, a process that becomes more intermittent once I start writing new projects while continuing to edit until the story concludes in April/ May 2023. NtEN should be ready by September and I’m planning (but not guaranteeing) an uninterrupted weekly schedule from the 1st or 2nd of September through to the 15th or 16th of December. This will conclude the first part of the story. It’s been a really challenging story to write sometimes but I’m confident it’ll deliver embarrassment and excitement. There are so...
