A Series of Embarrassing Events (An Update)
And now a word from your author.
It's difficult to tease my next story since I know it will not be online for nearly 15 months. However, I do want to offer a few details...
My next story is entitled A Series of Embarrassing Events and will follow the (mis)adventures of a boy named Noah; an aspiring nudist who is inspired (mostly by his brother Daniel) to take an interest in exhibitionism and embarrassment.
As Noah's adventures multiply, so too does his admirers and his sexual experiences. Noah also finds himself caught up in a role-playing event with mortifying consequences. Noah is joined by:
Toby, his best friend whose faith and sexual confusion cause him internal conflict.
Ronan, a new boy with hears voices.
Matty, his bisexual friend.
Jamie, best friend of his 21 year old brother who finds himself attracted to Noah.
And a host of other boys; peers from school, boys online, old friends and more.
While A Series of Embarrassing Events will definitely not be online until August/ September 2020, I am developing ideas for a series of standalone stories. I'd love to share one story by the end of the year so IF writing goes well, the first instalment in Anthology will (probably) feature in the Science Fiction of Fantasy (don't let that put you off) section on Nifty.
I will update again by the end of the year.

ReplyDeleteWriting is going well on the story - there are some wickedly exciting scenarios. I've completed well over a dozen chapters and intend there to be 25-30 chapters.

The first 2 chapters will see Noah getting naked at a beach, but it's not a nudist beach :)

DeleteA Series of Embarrassing Events is choc full of nudism/ exhibitionism/ embarrassment - I've even surprised myself and it'll be worth the wait.
I'll contemplate sharing an excerpt next month but I need time to decide what brief extract I could share - I've not started editing, so chapters are unpolished. Skim reading it I couldn't find a scene I was happy to share yet.

*Ethan's Story was a story I wrote before School Exhibitionism, under the same email/ pen name. I changed my pen name when I started writing again. There are two reasons I don't include Ethan's Story in my "I have also written" list:
1) As a first effort, I'm a little embarrassed at how unrefined, simple amateur it is. It has some cracking ideas and scenes in it so there are parts I'm proud of but others... not so much.
2) I recycled parts of it for other stories.
3) Side note: the 3.5 months between the penultimate and final chapter of Ethan's story are part of the reason I write to completion in advance. Readers wait longer in the first place but once the story starts, interruptions are rare and planned rather then unpredictable and indefinite.

Thanks for the response. Understandable, I'll be looking forward to the polished result. Those are some good recs- quite the fan of days at the beach myself. You mentioned in the OP that you'll be putting together stand-alone science fiction exhibitionist stories, so I'll be waiting eagerly for that. Cheers.
DeleteI've written nearly 2 dozen chapters of ASoEE - back to back humiliation, embarrassment, nudity, exhibition - so my first Anthology story is the only break I've had from that genre of story-telling. I hope you're not disappointed that I haven't had the chance to write an exhibition story this year (apart from 20 chapters of Do As You're Told).
DeleteRest assured that at least 8 out of the 15 ideas I have for the standalone Anthology stories involve humiliation, embarrassment, nudity or exhibition. One of those will be the next Anthology I start work on - no ETA for that.
However, the first Anthology is very nearly complete and is a gay twist on It's A Wonderful Life - I'll post it on Nifty in December, which will be a nice way to complete the year.
