Aiden’s Accidental Autoerotic Assignment (title, description & excerpt)

I literally do not know when this story will be complete (it only needs edited so sometime this month or June) but here is a short excerpt from my next short story. It is a masturbation story with an embarrassing twist…

 

Excerpt:

Aiden sighed.

He rolled his eyes, realised he was slouching, sat up straight, put his elbows on the desk and propped his head up. It was the only way he was going to stay awake.

Fuck, Aiden was bored!

It was a Friday afternoon and he was in a spacious lecture hall with north of eighty classmates. Lecture Hall 001 had a capacity closer to three hundred but there wasn’t three hundred people studying the elective module that Aiden and others had subjected himself to. Aiden was studying Multimedia and Journalism. The elective course was Social Media Trends in the 21ST Century.

This week, Social Media Trends in the 21ST Century involved watching more than video clips submitted by his classmates. Everyone had been assigned the task of recording a short video clip like one would find on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc. This was the second class dedicated to the assignment.

The quality of submissions was… varied… Cat videos, stunts, juggling, videogame tutorials, movie reviews, workouts and even cooking. One person submitted a video of themselves eating three Mars bars, a tuna sandwich and a giant pretzel.

There was quiet chatter all the time, some of it relevant to the video clips, most of it relevant to what they would do after class; which bar, pub or club friends would visit go to and so on. Consistently, with enviable persistence, each clip was introduced with some enthusiasm by their lecturer, Mr Jackson.

“Now, we have a very enthusiastic dog owner whose pet, Monty, has learned how to…”

“Who wants to learn how to make meringues? Watch this…”

“Who would have thought a hamster could do such incredible things! Let’s see what…”

“I like Call of Duty as much as the next person but we could have done without all the fucking swearing…”

“If you haven’t seen Sonic the Hedgehog 2, spoiler alert…”

After the first class, Mr Jackson set aside the final thirty minutes to discuss the most interesting clip. They discussed how the clip had been staged, scripted, filmed, edited and so on.

Aiden looked up at the screen at the front of the lecture hall. It was like a cinema screen and whoever had submitted the latest clip had created a funny and irreverent spoof advertisement about constipation complete with before and after scenes of bike riding.

Aiden laughed along with everyone else and it was obvious this would be the highlight of the lesson. Chatter in the classroom redoubled as the nearly ninety students expressed their admiration of the best clip they’d watched all afternoon. The lecture would move onto the final discussion in the next few minutes, which had been lively and enthusiastic last time, and Aiden reluctantly started thinking of something he could say if called to comment.

Aiden put his head down to think, half listening to Mr Jackson introduce the next video clip.

“The next submission was a big surprise,” Mr Jackson admitted. “We should all applaud the bravery of reproducing content that has become increasingly popular of late on social media.”

The gossiping, laughing, murmuring and chit chat faded into an eerie quiet that Aiden didn’t notice right away. Suddenly Aiden was aware of being watched but not in the paranoid sense where one has to look around to see who’s looking.

Everyone was looking at him!

Aiden looked left and right, back and forward but almost everyone seemed to be looking at him and then looking to the front of the room. Aiden turned his eyes to the massive screen at the front of the lecture theatre and, to his horror, he saw himself projected.

He was totally naked.

He was fully erect.

And he was masturbating.
