Four weeks and counting until A Series of Embarrassing Events debuts.   A lot of work goes into creating my stories. Some days it can be hard to concentrate on writing, so I think about other things - like the layout of Five Dukes county or what Noah’s house is like. I thought I'd share those finer details today. Literally, I get hung up on details like the turn left, turn right, upstairs, third door etc. The floorplan is heavily adapted from something I found online (don’t remember the source) but is substantially the layout I consult when editing.   The very rough map of Five Dukes county was just to give me a vague idea of where the towns and cities I mention are in relation to each other. It is incomplete in multiple respects but here it is for your… Entertainment? Interest? I hope you enjoy these hints and teases about Noah's (mis)adventures. These teasers cover the first nine chapters with much more coming in chapter 10-14 before the end of the year. This is more of a technical update for those interested in how I develop my stories. There will be another update next week.   I’m currently editing chapter thirteen of A Series of Embarrassing Events (ASoEE) and there will be fourteen chapters before the end of the year. I had hoped to have completed more editing by now (which would bring me closer to starting yet another project). However, I invested a lot of time in writing and editing Anthology II and III to plug the gap between Do As You’re Told (my 2018-2019 project) and ASoEE (2020-2021). Anthology Took up a few months of my time but, I hope, it was well worth it. Unfortunately, feedback has been limited which is disappointing. Anyway.   Since January, I’ve treated you to A Prelude to Embarrassing Events and written two additional chapters of ASoEE that were not part of the original narrative.
